Maison Thiriet, founded in 2016, is located opposite the Château de Comblanchien,
in Côte-d’Or, in the heart of the Côte-de-Nuits.
Everything is done using traditional methods: pump-overs by bucket, foot-treading, and a ratchet press.
No additives, indigenous yeasts. The bottles are labeled and waxed by hand.
“We focus on producing discrete appellations.
We wish to maintain a small production in order to provide as much attention to each bottle as possible.”
After years of experience in both production and sales, Canadian-born cellar master Matt Chittick and Camille Thiriet, a Burgundian by adoption, have combined prudence and ambition to realize a long-term dream: producing Burgundy wines under their own label.
