In Saint-Aubin, a village in the prestigious Côte des Blancs, the Miolane estate cultivates 9 hectares of vines.
At the helm of the operation are Patrick, a colorful winemaker with a love for witty remarks, and his daughter Barbara, dynamic and ambitious.
Romain Jacquot, Barbara’s husband, has joined the estate. After solid viticultural and winemaking training in Beaune, he now carefully observes the terroirs and soils to promote their microbial life and better nourish the grapevines. They form a complementary trio, where each has found their place: Vineyard work for Romain; vinification and marketing for Barbara; and estate oversight and benevolent guidance for Patrick.
The estate produces 16 appellations – Premiers Crus, Villages, and regional wines – from Saint-Aubin, Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, as well as 2 Crémants de Bourgogne.
