PILLOT

Puligny-Montrachet

The origins of Pillot date back to the 17th century in Chassagne, where our ancestors cultivated vines, made wine, and especially crafted barrels. It was in the 19th century that the Pillot family abandoned barrel-making and expanded their estate on the slopes of Chassagne-Montrachet. Fernand and his son Laurent, the 4th generation, further expanded the estate in 1992, then again in 2001 with the acquisition of the Pothier-Rieusset vineyards in Pommard. Today, we cultivate 14.8 hectares of vines, covering a total of 22 appellations. The vineyard plots are concentrated mainly in Chassagne-Montrachet and Pommard, but also in the terroirs of Santenay, Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, Volnay, and Beaune. All our crus are vinified and aged in our cellar in Chassagne-Montrachet,
